Stay and discover our seaside paradise,
We know you’ll enjoy your visit when you …

.…DISCOVER Historic Gibsons Landing; take a stroll along the seawalk to the public wharf, along the boardwalk to the gazebo to observe our working harbour, kayakers, sailboats, tugboats, float planes and marine life.  Purchase fresh seafood right off the side of a fish boat and stop at the world-famous Molly’s Reach restaurant, site of the Beachcombers TV series.  Small shops are waiting to be discovered, where you can purchase unique treasures, baked goods, clothing, jewelry and several art galleries featuring talented local artists and artisans.

…RELAX and enjoy the quiet of a small town park, trail or public beach – we have so many for you to choose from!  Enjoy a romantic meal at one of our restaurants offering spectacular harbour views and delicious food.

....LEARN about our local history by visiting the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives featuring the area’s maritime history and discover the historical connection between land, sea & human experience or take a Walking Tour of Historic Buildings.

….PARTICIPATE in a variety of special events, including art workshops and cultural festivals; Jazz Festival, Fibre Arts Festival, Sea Cavalcade and Outrigger Canoe Races, weekly summer Music in the Landing series, there is sure to be an event that matches your interests.

Part of the mainland, Gibsons is accessed by a scenic 40 minute ferry trip from Horseshoe Bay through beautiful Howe Sound (link to BC Ferries http://www.bcferries.com/). Mountains, local islands, tug boats and kayakers are all part of the view along the way.

The Town of Gibsons is a short hop from the ferry terminal along the coast and sits right by the ocean. Its 4,300 residents enjoy beaches, parks and cafés while taking in the natural vistas.
