The Town of Gibsons performs a wide variety of municipal services on behalf of the citizens.  Some of these services include maintenance of roads, parks, ball fields, trails, flowerbeds, planters and hanging baskets.

The Town is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the community water and sewer systems, water metering, and garbage collection as well as working with the community to provide a venue for events at Winegarden Park and Town Hall.

Other functions include policing, volunteer fire protection, bylaw enforcement, land use planning and subdivision regulation.
