Among the many services the Town provides, the Public Works Department is responsible for the essential services that we have all come to rely on as part of our daily lives.  Otherwise referred to as the Town’s infrastructure, these services include:

•    ensuring clean and safe water to our Town, supplied through underground pipes, wells and reservoirs,
•    maintaining a separate system of underground pipes to collect sewer or waste water for proper treatment prior to discharging it,
•    providing and maintaining the Town’s roads, sidewalks, street lights, signage and line markings, storm drainage and hydrants,
•    providing other key services including street cleaning and the coordination of the garbage collection services
•    watermain flushing
