Water Restrictions

There are 3 Water Zones in the Town of Gibsons. All 3 zones are now at Stage 2 water restrictions.

Water Zones

Zones 1 and 2 are served by the Gibsons Aquifer and follow a different set of water conservation measures than Zone 3, which is served by the SCRD (Chapman Lake.)

Residents who live in Zones 1 and 2 should refer to the first table below (with the Town of Gibsons logo) for specific details about their allowable water use.

Residents who live in Zone 3 should refer to the second table below (with the SCRD logo) for specific details about their allowable water use.

Stage 1 is automatically implemented on May 1st. Depending on conditions, Stage 2, 3 or 4 may be implemented as the summer goes on.
