Report a Concern
After Hour Emergencies
For after hour emergencies, please call 1-866-257-2194.
For emergencies requiring Police, Fire or Ambulance, please call 911.
How to Report a Concern
Do you have a non-emergency issue you want to report to the Town, such as a pothole or a broken street light? There are two ways to report an issue or a problem:
1. Call Town Hall at 604-886-2274
2. Use the online form below
You can help us by describing specific details in your reporting. Our staff will ensure your request is forwarded to the correct area for response. For example:
- For broken street lights and potholes*, take a photo with your smartphone to help identify the location.
- For street lights, describe the type of material the street light pole is made from (metal versus wood/concrete). This will help us determine if the street light is Town-owned (made from metal) or one of BC Hydro’s lights (made from wood/concrete).
- For a catch basin near your home that is backed up and will not drain, even after clearing away debris or snow, describe the location or take a photo.
*Potholes located on provincial highways are the responsibility of the Province. To report a pothole on a provincial road, visit https://drivebc.ca/rahp/.
Report a Concern
Street Lights
The Town is responsible for replacing lights on the ornamental (metal) poles and BC Hydro is responsible for those mounted on wooden poles. Our staff will ensure your request is forwarded to the correct area for response.
If you have any concerns about the BC Hydro lights in your area, please contact BC Hydro directly, at: LightingSupport@bchydro.com / 1-833-828-2224
