Recycling

Please Don’t Trash Your Recyclables!

Keeping recyclables out of the garbage helps divert waste from the Sechelt Landfill and reduces bear conflicts in our community. To support this, Gibsons Council adopted Bylaw 1252-03, 2019, making it a ticketable offence to put recyclables into the waste stream. This gives our Bylaw Officer an additional tool when education alone doesn’t work.
