Heritage Playhouse

Opened in 2000, the Heritage Playhouse is an important cultural asset owned by the Town of Gibsons. Originally built in 1929 as the Woman’s Institute, it served as the community cultural hub through the depression years. With a lot of hard work, between 1987-1999 it was rehabilitated and transformed by volunteers, donors, and a few grants into the live concert and theatrical venue it is today. It is also a designated BC provincial heritage site. heritageplayhouse.com
