Council Meetings

The Town of Gibsons holds regular Council meetings on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. It also has regular Planning and Development Committee meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 3:00pm and Committee-of-the-Whole meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at 3:00pm. There are no meetings in August or on statutory holidays. View meeting schedules here.

Normally, meetings are held in Council Chambers at Town Hall 474 South Fletcher Road, Gibsons, BC. However, due to COVID-19, all meetings are now being held online. Learn more about online meetings here.

Council and Committee meeting Agendas are posted to the Town’s CivicWeb Document Centre at end of day on the Wednesday immediately prior to the scheduled meeting. Minutes are posted once adopted. Gibsons Town Council believes in open and accessible government. Residents are invited to attend Council and Committee Meetings, Public Hearings, and other public input sessions. A question period is offered during each meeting. As well, individuals and organizations are able to make a presentation and appear as a delegation at a Council meeting.
