Watershed Monitoring

Five climate stations (precipitation and temperature) were installed in the watershed that will support water management for the Town of Gibsons and initiate a sustainable monitoring network for future studies. Multiple stations were installed at varying elevations to better represent the complex distribution of precipitation expected in the region. Climate data provides direct information on precipitation-to-infiltration-to-aquifer recharge.
