Submissions have now closed. Voting is open until February 16.
Residents of all skill levels and ages were invited to submit a digital photo of Gibsons’ urban forest. This includes trees or greenspace anywhere in the Town of Gibsons.
The winning photo will be featured on the cover of the final Urban Forest Plan report and shared on the Town’s social media channels, website and newsletter, and the photographer will receive a $100 gift certificate to a local nursery of their choice.
We love to see photos of the urban forest and appreciate all submissions! All other photos submitted will be used to build an urban forest story map that will be posted on the website once the Urban Forest Plan is completed.
Requirements:
- The photo must be from the urban forest in the Town of Gibsons. If you’re not sure of the boundaries, click here to see a map.
- The urban forest must be the main object of the photo.
- You must be the photographer of the photo.
- Please only submit one photo per person.
Voting
The public will be able to vote for their favourite photo from February 1 to February 16. A link will be available here when voting opens.
