Gibsons dog owners: it’s time to renew your licence.

All dogs over six months of age must have—and wear—a valid Town of Gibsons licence. Licences expire on December 31 and must be renewed annually.

Early Bird rates are available from December 1 to January 31.
Dog owners aged 65+ receive a 50% discount, and accredited Service Dogs are licensed at no charge.

Neutered/Spayed
• Regular: $22.50
• Early Bird: $15.00

Non-neutered/Unspayed
• Regular: $45.00
• Early Bird: $35.00

Lost tag replacement: $5.00

How to Purchase or Renew

Visit Gibsons Town Hall (474 South Fletcher Road) during regular business hours. Please bring:
• Your name, address, and phone number
• Your dog’s name, breed, colour, and gender
• Proof of spay/neuter (for first-time licences)

Dog licence fees support local animal control services. Licensing also helps ensure your dog can be quickly returned to you if they’re ever lost—and helps you avoid an “unlicensed dog” ticket.
