This forested trail connects upper and lower Gibsons. The tree canopy varies from open and airy deciduous trees to that of a classic west coast rainforest—Douglas fir and cedar. There is a peekaboo view looking over Gibsons toward Howe Sound at the east end of the trail.
Things to note:
- Good strong walking shoes are recommended for this beautiful section of the Inglis Trail. The splendour of the west coast forest is most visible in the spring, with the flowering of many local beauties.
- Mount Elphinstone can be seen from the Oceanmount area and has its own network of trails to explore and enjoy.
- Meander down the footpath from Spyglass Place to South Fletcher Road and enjoy the spectacular ocean views.
- Holland Park with Gibsons Municipal Hall, Gibsons Public Library and the Elphinstone Museum offer a variety of recreational opportunities.
