Gibsons Cold Weather Shelter
The cold weather shelter will be open nightly from October 17 2024, until April 2025.
This shelter offers:
- 10 beds
- hot meals, breakfast and a bagged lunch
- Showers
- Laundry
- Compassionate support staff on-site
Location: Salvation Army, #5-682 Gibsons Way
Dates: Every night from October 25, 2023 until April 15, 2024
Time: 7:00 pm-7:00 am

As temperatures drop, we’re reaching out for donations to support those in need. If you have any of the following items, please consider contributing:
Gibsons Homeless Outreach Program
- Tents (preferably small two-person ones)
Drop off at Town Hall, 474 South Fletcher Rd, Gibsons.
Salvation Army
- new socks
- new underwear
Drop off at the Salvation Army office at 5-682 Gibsons Way.
RainCity Housing & Vancouver Coastal Health
Cold weather items such as:
- blankets
- sleeping bags
- new socks
- new underwear
- winter and waterproof coats
- boots
- gloves
