Changing lives through destigmatization, outreach and support

The Everybody Deserves a Home project is funded by the Strengthening Communities’ Services Program grant, and is dedicated to providing transitional housing and support for people who are at risk of homelessness.

As well as providing sober affordable housing, the program provides counselling services, brings isolated people together through community events, and connect people to much needed resources, such as cold weather shelters.

Ways to support the program:

  • Mail a donation (cheque) to the Town of Gibsons and reference Everybody Deserves a Home program.
  • Donate furniture, housing supplies or fresh fruit and vegetables. Contact the program coordinator to arrange.
  • Provide a meal for a senior in Gibsons who is at risk of homelessness: Meal Train for Everybody Deserves a Home
