We need your input on the draft Active Transportation Network Plan!
The Town of Gibsons is excited to announce the launch of the second round of engagement for the Active Transportation Network Plan (ATNP). The ATNP will help the Town to prioritize investments and decision-making around active transportation programs and infrastructure improvements.
The ATNP planning process began in the Summer of 2023 and will be completed by April 2024. Input from stakeholders and community members is a critical part of this project and will help ensure the final ATNP represents Gibsons’ unique context and community priorities.
Based on what we heard from community members and stakeholders in the first round of engagement, we have developed preliminary recommendations and priority projects to be included in the Active Transportation Network Plan.
Did we get it right? We want to hear from you!
The Town is now seeking feedback from community members on the proposed active transportation networks and priority projects, which will be included in the final Active Transportation Plan. We invite you to join us at one of our virtual open houses and complete our online survey. We would love to hear what active transportation strategies and actions are most important to you.
